RUMORS

An outrageous farce
by Neil Simon

July 13 – November 2

Sharp-edged wit meets madcap farce in this laugh-out-loud comedy from legendary playwright Neil Simon. When the first guests arrive for an anniversary party at the deputy mayor’s home, they find their host unconscious, his wife and staff missing, and the duck is still thawing on the counter! Fearing a scandal, his friends attempt a cover-up. But as more partygoers arrive, everyone gets tangled in a web of mayhem, misunderstandings…and rumors!

Suitability Suggestion:

While Rumors is an outrageous farce, the play contains aspects that may not be suitable for all audiences. Amidst the comedic chaos, characters frequently swear and curse, drink alcohol, and speculate on a possible suicide attempt and various extramarital affairs.
