Programs

In addition to its mainstage season, the Commonweal offers an array of programs that enrich artists and audiences alike. The company specializes in the works of Henrik Ibsen, producing an annual Ibsen Festival. The Commonweal also hosts a New Play Series and produces “Over the Back Fence,” a live, one-hour radio variety show broadcast weekly over a local radio station from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Education is paramount to the Commonweal, with eight education programs offered for students of all ages and skill levels.
